I am Aircraft structure maintenance technician IV. I have more than seven years’ of experience in Ethiopian airlines MRO as aircraft structure maintenance technician. My active involvement has created enormous opportunity for me to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge. Hence, my task has given me a sense of contribution for the aviation industry and the wider environment; this is also a vindication of my true passion. I also consider myself as a passionate and committed person that strongly believes in hard work to realize my goals and set objectives. I’m a true believer of team work, personal discipline and creativity in responding to a communal challenges and problems. Cooperating and collaborating with fellow colleagues in my work place and beyond has given me a very easy way of interacting and communicating with people. Thus, I am looking a career both challenging and rewarding.

 Performs all works involving overhauling, disassembling/assembling, repair and Modification and test the Structural part of the Aircraft according to the detailed maintenance and repair procedures specified for the position.  Evaluates repairs, manufactures and replaces aircraft tubes, hoses and control cable.  Reads and Interprets Maintenance Manuals, Engineering Drawing, Blueprints and schematics or other Technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform assigned task.  Plan, lay-out, fabricate and install modifications.  Repairs, cures and manufacture composite parts.  Replaces or repairs damage or worn Aircraft structural parts or performs Structural alterations utilizing general hand tools and pneumatic tools and structural repair equipments.  Troubleshoots and determine parts required to effect overhaul and repair.  Overhauls, repairs and modify and test Aircraft Structures.  Signs for Maintenance tasks performed for which she/he is authorized.  Recommends suggestions for improving Structure shop and Hangar maintenance better practices to improve efficiency if customized.  Handles necessary forms, tags and other paper work regarding repaired or overhauled Aircraft Structures.  Works for ACE activity achievement and assists in work area cleaning as required.  Operates ground support equipment (GSE) while working on Aircraft.
