Aircraft Engineer – Avionic Components


Job Description

Auckland Component Avionics is looking for a focused individual to join their workshop team.

The purpose of this role is to provide excellent service to our customers through the safe, accurate and timely provision of Avionic and Electrical component engineering. The successful applicant will be working within a highly regulated environment and need to be able to meet tight deadlines while juggling changing priorities.

To be successful you must be a motivated team member and be aware of target times and costs relative to your work. A high standard must be maintained at all times.

Strong communication skills and your ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a day-to-day basis are important. A strong customer focus and excellent time management skills are essential along with a strong understanding of aircraft systems, component maintenance practices and preferably Air New Zealand Engineering and Maintenance processes.

You must have completed or be about to complete an Apprenticeship/Traineeship in the Aircraft Industry – Avionic stream and have proven ability to work in a team environment with a strong commitment to health and safety.
