As a Qantas, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specifications to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability, and service.

You’ll have –

  • Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)
  • Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable
  • Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) trade experience on B737-800 and or  A330 is essential
  • Experience working on B787 and A380 will be desirable
  • Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard
  • Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding Mechanical Maintenance procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Australian Drivers licence
  • Ability to work a permanent night shift work
  • Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
