Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The BCMS Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Specialist – SMS & BCP in the implementation, training, and exercise of DIAL’s Business Continuity Management System.

To assist in implementing the DIAL BCMS throughout the operational units of  IGIA;%age compliance to BCMS KPIs
To conduct Internal Audits and assist/prepare for external audits by certifying agency.All DIAL departments annually
Conduct BIA for departments. Update process maps as and when changes take place.All DIAL departments annually

Prepare, review and update BCMS training and exercising calendar and assist in their executionAs per the BCMS calendar
To keep the contact details up-to-date as per the requirements of DIAL BCMSQuarterly review and update.
To assist in updating the DIAL BCMS documents as and when BCMS organizational changes occurQuarterly review and update.
Train DIAL employees and employees of service providers on their roles and responsibilities regarding the implementation of the DIAL BCMSAs per the BCMS calendar.
To develop and implement BCMS promotions and programs at the IGIAAs per the BCMS calendar.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

The BCMS Coordinator will interact with stakeholders outside of DIAL including government bodies operating at IGIA on BCP implementation.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

The BCMS Coordinator will interact with DIAL senior managers, departmental heads, and BCMS SPOCs throughout the organization. 

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Engineering Background preferable

OTHER DIMENSIONS

  • Total experience 5/7 years with 2 years essentially in the relevant field.
  • Aviation background preferable.
  •  
  • Expertise in Microsoft excel and power point
  • Proficiency in ISO systems & processes (ISO 22301, OHSAS 18001)
  • Proficiency in Risk Assessment Techniques
  • Proficiency in Training and Communication skills
  • Proficiency in Auditing skills
  • Interpersonal skills
