The successful candidate will be part of SIA’s Learning & Development Department in the Cabin Crew Division. He/She will ensure that the training developed for the SIA cabin crew is holistic and of high standards, so that the crew is aligned to SIA’s company mission, corporate objectives, and core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a suite of Self-Directed Learning (SDL) Courses for cabin crew, which includes:

– identifying new relevant courses to be mapped to the Crew Competency Framework (CCF) and ensuring the quality of courses and trainers by reviewing Courseware Evaluation Questionnaire (CEQ) feedback
– liaising with training providers to provide timely updates on courseware where necessary and other course-related matters to ensure smooth facilitation and delivery of courses
– managing contracts with training vendors and requesting quotations whenever new courses are introduced
– ensuring that SDL completions are accounted for in the various systems such as the Learning Management System (SKIES LMS), Cabin Crew Service Records (CCSR), and Crew Journey App (CJA)

• Manage and identify additional sources of learning

– maintaining LinkedIn Learning as an alternative for crew self-development and the associated administrative matters
– introducing micro-learning courseware as bite-sized SDL for crew

• Pilot the Crew Competency Framework (CCF) during CCRP and work with other stakeholders on the roll-out to the rest of the crew population which is core to the CJA

• Support the development of the Crew Journey App (CJA) to incorporate the adoption of the CCF, introduce new features, and assist in user testing (UAT) for newly-launched features to ensure smooth usage

• Assume the role of the department LIC in the management and maintenance of departmental assets

• Assist in additional duties/projects when assigned

Requirements

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline 

• Experience in project management (which includes project planning and use of PM tools such as JIRA)

• Experience in product management (which includes requirements gathering and quality assurance testing)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of learning and development methods

• Familiar with e-learning platforms and digital tools

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Analytical with a keen sense for numbers

• Ability to manage projects independently

• Team player

• Resourceful and adaptable

• Detail oriented

• Data analysis and any proficiency in data visualization will be advantageous

• Training-related qualifications (such as ACTA, ACLP, and DACE) will be advantageous
